Volunteers play an important role at DOHS Podcast to provide support to victims and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
Volunteers are persons interested as advocates for women and girls who are survivors or victims of sexual and gender based violence, who register to be an official member of the DOHS volunteer community.
Ways You Can Volunteer
Member
Lend Your Time and Voice to the Cause
As a volunteering member, you will:
- Listen to stories of these women and girls and empathize with them
- Give info about what to do
- Join us to raise awareness about female SGBV
- Speak about DOHS Podcast and SGBV in your local community
- Sometimes be required to escort victims to report cases or court
- Act as community whistle blower on female SGBV

Back the Cause With Your Expertise
This category is for:
- Counsellors and mental health professionals
- Office support professionals such as administrative support during recording of the podcast, sourcing for poems and books to recommend/read to survivors
- Technical support professionals with skills such as graphics design, photography, blogging, social media management, etc.
